LED displays are manufactured in tightly controlled production runs where each LED is selected for specific wavelength and brightness characteristics. Even when two modules share the same model number, modules produced in different batches often vary slightly in color temperature and brightness.
When replacement modules come from a different production batch, those differences can create visible inconsistencies across the display surface — resulting in patchy brightness, color shifts, and uneven image quality.
Professional LED calibration systems can correct these differences, but they require specialized equipment including calibration cameras, controlled dark-room environments, and highly trained technicians.
